The decision to open up her own salon was a long-time coming for beauty specialist Samantha James Wesley. She had been working in hair for years and finally decided to take the reins on her career progress moving forward, leaping into the unknown with the opening of her premiere namesake salon in Potomac, Maryland.
An Esteemed Background
Samantha James is a highly respected hair color specialist within the greater DMV area with a strong presence in the esteemed Potomac community. From transforming celebrities' hair to creating art on NYFW runways to teaching (and taking) classes with the L’Oréal Professionel community, Samantha James is passionate about hair and providing impeccable services in a fabulous environment.
The Project
When the ownership team approached me with the news of their salon opening, I leaped at the opportunity to help them create the media presence that enhanced and empowered their visions of success.
We began by surveying the market landscape and the business’s unique positioning. Then, we moved into developing an excellent social media presence for the luxury beauty company, including ways to build her clientele and get her to a fully-booked state.
The Results
Since 2018, Samantha James Salon has achieved over 364,000 impressions on Google and successfully booked 464 new client appointments through the combined effect of Google Ad placements and the complementary content on social media, the website, Google business listing, and the Yelp page.
